There are many new trends surfacing in gardening these days and water gardening is one of the main new interests. Water gardening can be in the form of waterfalls, ponds and fountains, all of which can be enhanced by rockwork combinations and lighting, plants and fish. Water gardening doesn’t have to be a pond, or natural water source either, it can just as easily consist of a plastic tub, or basically anything that can hold water.
Bonsai is an ancient, oriental type of horticultural art form. The word Bonsai means tree in a pot. This is true for both the Chinese and the Japanese language. It was founded in the East, almost 2000 years ago and it is still a very popular form of art, that is practiced throughout the world. The different shapes of the tree are carefully thought out and they are used to create a beautiful “picture.”
I have had a lot of interest shown and questions asked on Bonsai recently, so when I found this book, I just knew I should share it with you. The book is titled “Bonsai Expert Exposes Time-Tested, Secret Methods Used to Grow Shockingly Beautiful Bonsai!” and is a really informative read. It comes as an instant download and I have the link at the bottom of the article, which is a review of the book.

Review Of Book For All Bonsai Enthusiasts
I run this blog on gardening topics. It is my passion, but as a mother, a wife and a woman, there are other things that affect me too. Every now and then, I raise another subject and bring you stories I have heard. This is a lesson in life, taken from my church magazine. A daughter complained to her father about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of all the fighting and struggling. It seemed as though in solving one problem, two more would arise.
Roses have had a bit of a bad wrap over the years, for being difficult to grow and maintain. If you are thinking of rose gardening, don’t let this rumor stop you. While rose gardening can prove to be challenging, once you get the hang of it, it really isn’t that bad at all.
Many people like flowers in their gardens. The whole point of having a garden, for some people, is to be able to have flowers which they can enjoy and smell and pick and give away to friends on birthdays, or funerals. And there are many types of flowers which are indigenous to the lands in America, or near your home, so that you should be able to grow these flowers without too much incident at all. But, before you begin the struggle to get your flowers up and running, you should first find out about the different types of flowers which are able to be grown in your area, versus the kind of flowers that you want to grow and the climate in an area, in which they are able to grow.
Gardening is a very satisfying hobby, because it provides relaxation of the mind, as you work on enhancing an empty space, as well as making the world a better place. When you have an indoor garden, there are many more benefits that can be seen, and they will affect everyone that lives under the same roof. Here are some advantages of indoor gardening, that everyone should explore and enjoy. We all know that plants clean our air, by extracting carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, which is what we need, in order to live and the more we have in the air, the better quality air we inhale.
First off, a very Happy Easter to all readers. Many people have commented on how early Easter is, this year. I remember back in 1984, we had just moved on to our old farm, in Winterton, and had friends up for the Easter weekend.
Starting a new garden can be quite daunting, even more so if it is a small townhouse garden in a complex that insists on indigenous plants only. A lot of people see a tree that they like at the nursery, but it turns out unsuitable, because of it’s eventual height, or root system.
I thought you would like this look on the lighter side of life. God created the donkey and said to him, “You will be a donkey. You will work untiringly, from sunrise to sunset, every day, carrying burdens on your back. You will eat grass, you will have no intelligence and you will live to 50 years.”
