Wouldn’t you just love to make money online, by selling products? Of course you would, but do you already have a collection of your own products that you are ready to sell?  If you don’t, do you have the necessary money buy them? If you are like most of the others online, who want to make money, you probably don’t have the funds, or the know how, to procure these products.  If you did, you probably wouldn’t be reading this.

Before you despair and think that it is impossible, for you to make money online, especially if you don’t have any products to sell, there is a way around the problem. You can make money, a substantial amount of money, even if you don’t actually have a product to sell, with affiliate programs.

There are many people, who want to make money online, but they think that it is impossible to do so, because they don’t already have a collection of products, or they don’t have the necessary funds, to make the purchase of these products. Unfortunately, most of them just give up.

Affiliate programs, simply create a partnership, between the business owners and various big and small webmasters. If you already have a website, you are eligible. If you don’t, you can easily get one. A webmaster is an individual, who owns and operates his, or her own online website. Once you have a website, you then look for another business, which is running an affiliate program and offer to sell on their behalf. This is an unique partnership agreement, because you can both benefit from it. Affiliate programs are to help the business owners increase their sales, but they also help many webmasters, to generate extra income. 

Make sure you read all the terms and conditions, before you join up and start promoting their products. You do not want problems, once you are already getting sales. With the frequency of internet scams, at an all time high, you can’t be too cautious. Affiliate programs may be structured differently, but the basic principles are all the same. Some businesses create links, or banners for the webmasters, or marketers, to display on their websites. Special tracking software, is used, to enable a business owner, to determine, exactly when you helped them, to generate a sale and how much that sale was worth. Most affiliate programs, give you access, to all sorts of statistics. The sale, in turn, generates income for you, by way of commissions. Commission percentages can vary from program to program and can range fro 2% to 60%, depending on the product.

The beauty of affiliate programs, is that they allow you to make money, by selling products that aren’t even yours. This means that you do not have to carry any stock, or outlay any funds. You  don’t even have to ship the products, to the buyers.  In fact, you should never need to communicate with your customers at all. The business, who is selling the product, will do all of that work for you. It is really simple.

So, if you are interested in making money online, without having any products, of your own, I urge you to further examine affiliate programs. Try a few, check them carefully, look at what tools they make available to you, see whether the products seem valuable and will be easy to sell, check the rates of commission, search the company and the products, to find whether other people are happy, or not and decide on the best.

You can also find affiliate programs to join, by examining the online websites. You do not have to search for affiliate businesses, you can go straight to ClickBank, or PayDotCom and simply select products that appeal to you. These are huge affiliate merchants and have thousands of affiliates working for them. They are both reputable and secure. Their commissions are generally higher, than elsewhere and on certain digital products, such as e-books, commissions can be as high as 50, or 60 percent.

If you don’t have a website and don’t want to get involved with designing and hosting, then some affiliate programs will give you a mini website, or sales pages, hosted for free on their servers.

Isn’t it amazing that you can still make a lot of money, by selling other people’s products, without having to handle your own inventory and without even needing a website?  The quicker you find a couple of good affiliate programs and join, the quicker you can start earning from them.
