No Time No Power Death And Rugby

Wow! Time flies. I have been busy, the last few weeks, with running up and down to Durban to visit my father in law, who has been ill and in and out of hospital for nearly 3 months. With this, we have stayed over with Sally’s Mom a few times, to help her with various issues. He passed away, on Monday 4th February. Add to this the fact that we have a house, on a farm outside Pietermaritzburg and have pets, so can’t be away from home for too long and add the constant Eskom power outages and the fact that I’m running a full time Internet business and you will see that time is something that I haven’t had too much of lately.

Then of course, it was Christmas and New Year holidays and our son, Clinton, competed in both the 3 day Dusi canoe marathon and then the nonstop one day Dusi, for which we seconded him and the fact that I have a widowed Mom to see and help out, especially at this time of year and you’ll begin to wonder how we juggle all these things.

Now add to that list, the fact that I author 3 blogs and have to write 21 articles each week. All this is done offline and posted on the weekends, as in our area, I can only access the Internet by dialup. With this dialup, the farm ‘phone lines are often faulty and I only get access from 7pm, to 10 pm each night and from 8am to 8pm on weekends, so that makes life more complicated. Bear in mind, that this is our stormy season and that if Eskom is out, the Internet won’t work and you will see that I only get about 25 hours on the Internet each week.

Something else I have neglected due to time constraints, is contacting all those who read my blog, leave comments, join communities etc. Sorry and welcome and thanks to you all. I will get there!

During my time online, I have to check mails, post articles, reply to mails and comments, look for products to promote and review, check my sales and banks, correspond with pupils and people on my list and so much more.

At the same time, I’m trying to find answers to all the problems we face in the world of Internet Marketers, living in South Africa and other countries where some things, such as Paypal, are not accessible. These things are taken for granted by our American friends, but imagine life without such things as Paypal. In fact, with dialup, common tasks such as FTP, video, uploads and downloads are almost impossible.

I’m working on setting up a special membership site, to facilitate all these disadvantaged marketers and to give them the tools, to be able to compete in Internet Marketing, without the hassles. This research also takes time.

My one passion and form of relaxation, as a true blooded South African male, is watching rugby. I love rugby, ardently support the Sharks and the Springboks and regard the Super 14 tournament as the rugby highlight of the year. I regard this as the best rugby competition of the year and each year, I write weekly reviews of the week’s matches. Well time has crept up on me this year and I find myself unprepared for the Super 14, which starts on Friday 15th February. In fact, worse still, the Sharks kick off against the Western Force in Durban and I won’t be there.

Each year, I post a full program of events and cover the week’s games. I apologise for not providing the fixture list and score sheet, earlier, as I did with the Rugby World Cup. Anyway, I have fixed the problem. I will be covering the Super 14 and yes, I do have a downloadable fixture list and scoresheet for you. One has all the matches and spaces for you to fill in the results and the other is a log form, which you can update each week. They are both in PDF format. Use these links. Save to your computer and then print them out.
