This was the sixth weekend in the 2008 season of the Super 14 Rugby Tournament. Here are the results of the matches played in the sixth weekend, of the Super 14 Rugby Tournament, 2008.

The first match of the weekend, played on Friday morning, was between the Crusaders and the Waratahs, in Christchurch. There was no stopping the Crusaders. After a halftime score of only 6 – 0, the Crusaders piled on another 28 points, to win by 34 – 7. They scored 4 tries to 1 by the Waratahs.

The second match, also on Friday morning, was the Brumbies and Cheetahs, in Canberra. The Cheetahs were up 13 – 12 at halftime, but the Brumbies found some form, to pull off a win by 29 – 23. They ran in 4 tries, to 2 by the Cheetahs.

Early Saturday morning, the Highlanders met the Force in Queenstown. The Westrern Force were up 17 – 13 at the break and secured victory by 36 – 28. Both teams scored 3 tries each.
 
The next Saturday match saw the Blues face the Stormers in Auckland. The Blues slipped back in form and were lucky to win by 17 – 14. The score was 16 – 6 at the break, but the Stormers fought back in the second half. Only 1 try each was scored by both teams.

The next Saturday match, in the evening, was between the Chiefs and the Bulls. The venue was Rotorua. It was fairly close at the break, at 12 – 10 to the Chiefs. The Bulls lost the plot in the second half and allowed the Chiefs victory at 43 – 27. Chiefs 6 tries and Bulls 3.

Next up, the last for Saturday evening, was the Lions and the Reds, in Johannesburg. This was the last match of the weekend. This was a close match. After the halfway score of Lions 3 and Reds 0, the match ended in a draw at 24 – 24. The Lions dotted down twice and the Reds 3 times.

The Sharks and the Hurricanes had byes this weekend.

So, after the sixth week of the competition the log looks like this:
Crusaders 29, Sharks 21, Blues 20, Force 19, Hurricanes 18, Brumbies 15, Waratahs 13, Stormers 13, Chiefs 13, Reds 12, Bulls 8, Lions 7, Cheetahs 5, Highlanders 4.
