One of the very easiest ways to get known, earn money and build your list is through contributing to Giveaway Events. This is easy, quick and requires nothing more than a PayPal account. And an auto responder. This is how it works.

First join a couple of Giveaways as an ordinary member. Look around all the free gifts for one that suits your niche. Make sure it comes with Private Label Rights, or Master Resell Rights. Try to find one that comes with the source files and with a reseller website.

With Private Label Rights, you are entitled to edit the product, personalize it and put your name o it. Don’t even worry to do this. This will be one of your “selling points” that makes it irresistible to other PLR hunters.

Edit and personalize the website pages to sound like you are giving away this really great gift. Mention all the attributes, like source files, full rights, can be altered, comes with ready made sales pages and anything else you can think of to make it sound irresistible.

I have found double opt in to work best and it gives you extra opportunities to “upsell” another 2 products. What you do is get people to view your sales page and signup to your list. They immediately receive a mail, directing them to your thank you page and you promote a product to them, while they wait to receive the mail containing the download links. Next, they receive the link to the download page, where you gain alert them o some great product, while they wait for the downloads to run.

Now, with the Giveaway events, you join up as a contributor to as many as you can, as soon as you can. Once you have joined, login and go straight to your profile. Enter any missing information and the email you use for your PayPal account. Find the promotion links. There are usually 2, one for ordinary members and one for contributors. These are the links you promote to everybody but more on that in a minute.

Now go to “Manage Gift.” Click on “Add Gift.” Upload a small picture of your gift and type in a catchy title. In the description box, give a summary of hw wonderful this product is. Often you are asked to describe your opt in process. Here, you briefly explain how it works. Tell the people what they need to do, in order to download your gift. Then you type in the link to your sign up page, or sales page and also the link to the download page, so that the Giveaway host can check your gift. That’s it! You are a contributor.

Before you close the page, copy your title, description and links and paste and save them in a Notebook file. Do the same for your opt in description. Now, the next time you join an event, all you have to do is copy and paste!

The next step is to promote for contributors. Hold back on promoting for members at this stage. Use mails, tell a friend, your friends, your blog, ads or any other method to spread the word. If you are only on 1 or 2 Giveaways, use their pre-written email messages. They often offer mails, articles, banners etc as promotional tools.

Most Giveaways pay you for referrals, either in cash or in points. There are far more rewards or referring Contributors, than members, so concentrate on this first. If the new Contributor decides to pay for a premium spot, if he upgrades, or if he buys the event’s OTO offers, you earn a commission to your PayPal account. All referrals and earnings are shown in the members area, so you can easily keep track of them.

The page ranking, or position of your gift depends on the number of points, or referrals you have, but if you get in earl and promote properly, you won’t have a problem. The advertising of the Event is done by the host an al the participants, so if you were battling to attract traffic to your website, take advantage of this combined advertising and use all their traffic, for your own promotion.

You will have seen when the Giveaway actually launches and opens to the public. The Host needs time to check al Contributors, before going public. They will keep you posted by email. Once they launch, you stop promoting for Contributors and start recruiting ordinary Members. You use the other link, to send the general public over to this event. Again, you can use any method of promotion and there should be ready made messages under the Promote, or Resources section of the Members Area.

When the public arrive at the Giveaway event, they are given the same OTO offers as before, then they are given an option of an upgrade. They can buy a “Free Pass” which allows them to download all the gifts without having to sign up for each one. If they decline, they are able to pick and choose gifts, but need to sign up for each one.

Then they arrive at your gift and join your list and see your two product upsells. That is the whole process, from beginning to end. Of course you will be playing the field and doing a few Giveaways at the same time, so there is only one more thing to do. Check your commissions!

By the time that the Event officially closes, you should know exactly how much you have earned and when and how it is to be paid. Keep track of this information. What I do is create a Word document for all the JVs and Giveaways.

I insert the name, the open and close dates, the user name, password and email I registered with and then the 3 links. These are your log in and the 2 affiliate links. I also record stats of referrals and commissions. This way you have all your info in one place and are able to use live links.

So you see, this is not as difficult as it seemed and if done properly, you have about 8 chances of earning, from some kind of sale, from each Event. All you have needed to start was a PayPal email. That’s it! The Giveaway convenor fixes up the OTOs and Upgrades etc, and your upsell products can be lined to your affiliate website, so you don’t even have to worry about payment buttons.

Could there be any easier method of earning money and building your list at the same time?

Make up a few products and alternate them on different Giveaways.  Check the rules first. Some might allow only Video, or Training products for example, so make sure you comply.

I’m assuming that you have started an online business and have some sort of auto responder. While this isn’t absolutely necessary, it will certainly make things much easier.
