This was the fifth weekend in the 2008 season of the Super 14 Rugby Tournament. Here are the results of the matches played in the fourth weekend of the Super 14 Rugby Tournament, 2008.
This was the fourth weekend in the 2008 season of the Super 14 Rugby Tournament. The Canterbury Crusaders had streaked ahead into 1st place on the log, but last weekend, they were overtaken by the Auckland Blues. The end of the 3rd week saw the Blues on top with 15 points, followed by the Crusaders on 14, then the Sharks on 13 and the Waratahs in 4th place, on 9 points.
This was the third weekend in the 2008 season of the Super 14 Rugby Tournament. The Canterbury Crusaders had streaked ahead, into first place on the log, but after the second weekend, the Auckland Blues were breathing down their necks. The players are so professional these days that they could probably ref their own games.

Last year our Sharks topped the log and just narrowly lost the cup to the Bulls, in a frenetic final match. Anyway, this year’s contest got underway, on Friday 15th February 2008 and this is a brief report on the first weekend’s matches.

Thus, the 2 top teams, the Sharks and the Bulls, who battled it out earlier this year, for the Super 14 finals, were left with only second stringers, in their teams.
